Watch This Tile Setter Turn His Work Break Into a Dance Break!

Let’s face it, work can be a real slog. Whether you sit at a desk pushing paper all day, or even stay at home with the little ones, some days certainly have the tendency to drag on! But, if you’re lucky enough to work alongside someone with a sense of humor, the day goes by just that much faster.

Case in point is “Tile Tony,” the subject of today’s funny video. This guy makes his co-workers laugh by taking hilarious dance breaks!

But, first, a little background. Tony Restivo is just your average Toronto area construction worker. He certainly looks the part; he’s got his knee pads, work pants, and customary white tank top on, but he also carries with him a certain “je ne sais quoi.” Simply put, the man can dance!

While on a job one day, Restivo was looking to lighten up the mood a bit. You see, his fellow workers weren’t particularly into that particular tile session. “The guys… were not in good spirits.” What’s a man to do? Well, he turned on his music, of course, and just started to let loose!

So, the burly worker cranked up some Ariana Grande (he’s so hip!) and started shaking his booty! Restivo says that he was unaware that his co-worker Anthony was taking video of his clearly “Magic Mike” inspired boogie for the first “15 to 20 seconds.” We love that the guy wasn’t trying to make a viral video—he was just simply caught in the act of making his peers chuckle.

In an interview with CityNews, the construction worker explained that dancing “is actually a normal thing” for him at work. “I dance all the time at work, to make the guys laugh and have a good time because our job is hard enough as it is.”

The amazing thing about this story is that the clip only saw the light of day after Tony’s wife Sandy found it on his phone and posted it to Facebook. The video has already been viewed and shared millions of times, and the story has been picked up by major international news outlets.

On the video’s success, Tony says, “I didn’t know that it was going to reach this. I thought only the family was going to see it, and if I knew, I probably would have told Sandy not to put it on.”

Oh, no! Don’t be blue, Tony! Besides, the momentum behind the funny clip has even managed to capture the attention of the singer of the song herself—ARIANA GRANDE! She actually shared the video on her Instagram alongside a caption that simply states: “hell yeah dude.” We’ve got to agree with her; hell yeah indeed!
