Sharon Osbourne Is Reportedly “Bitterly Disappointed” in How Her Exit from ‘The Talk’ Happened

When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sat down for a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, Sharon Osbourne probably didn’t know that it would end up resulting in an emotional discussion on “The Talk.”

It all started when Piers Morgan said that he doesn’t believe anything Meghan Markle says and ended up walking off the show he was co-hosting never to return again. People started accusing Morgan of being racist, but Osbourne stood up for him. On “The Talk,” she explained that she didn’t agree with everything Morgan said but that she believes in his freedom of speech. She also defended him saying that she knows he is not racist and she is not racist either.

Osbourne later said she felt like she was set-up and attacked on “The Talk.” The show took an unplanned hiatus to investigate, and Osbourne wasn’t sure if she even wanted to return to the show if she wasn’t wanted there. Now, it’s official, after 11 years, Osbourne is no longer on “The Talk.”

CBS may say that it’s Osbourne’s decision to leave “The Talk,” but she’s not happy about it. In fact, a source says that she is actually “bitterly disappointed.” Watch the video below for more details about Osbourne’s reaction to leaving “The Talk.”

Even though Osbourne is unhappy about leaving “The Talk,” she is trying to see the bright side. A source told Us Weekly, “Her family is supporting her too and it tears them all apart seeing her suffer like this. They think it’s a big stitch-up and she’s been hung out to dry for something she hasn’t done or believed in.”

Osbourne’s friends tell her she’ll “bounce back,” but she knows some people will never forgive her for the scene on “The Talk.” In the meantime, the source said, “She’s decided to take a breather for a while and see where the chips fall once the dust settles. In the meantime, she’s distraught and angry, trying to digest this tornado that’s come from nowhere and turned her life upside down.”
