In 2020, during lockdowns across the country and the world due to the coronavirus pandemic, many people found themselves at home more than ever before. The caused some to struggle with staying in shape. Instead of going to the gym or doing other activities to keep their body moving, they stayed home and were sometimes less active than usual and may have eaten more junk food and comfort food than usual to cope with the change in circumstances.
Salma Hayek admits that she needed to work to get herself back in shape after 2020 lockdowns. She worked hard to reach her goal size, and when she reached that goal she wanted to share her success. Shortly after reaching her goal size, she left for a vacation, and she took quite a few pictures of herself including pictures of herself wearing a bikini.

Hayek told Entertainment Tonight that she feels like it’s “liberating” to post bikini pictures on social media. She also doesn’t plan to stop sharing bikini pictures no matter what anyone says or thinks. She explained, “People are sick of it but I’m going to let them take a break. They’re going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day. No, they’re all from the same location.”
Over the course of 2021, Hayek shared quite a few bikini pictures that were taken over her vacation. No, she was not really wearing a bikini every day.
