3 Former Presidents Have Volunteered To Receive the Coronavirus Vaccine On Camera

A coronavirus vaccine will most likely be available in 2021. Healthcare workers and people who are immunocompromised are probably going to be at the top of the list to be eligible to get the vaccine, but by April, most likely anyone who wants to get vaccinated will be able to get vaccinated.

Some people will probably be hesitant to get the vaccine. Obviously, any anti-vaxxer would be against it, but even people who regularly get their flu shot might be hesitant to get in line for a vaccine that is so new.

In an effort to ease the fears of the general public, three former Presidents have announced that they would be willing to get the coronavirus vaccine when it is available to them, and not only will they get the vaccine, but they would happily get it on camera in an effort to promote vaccination.

In an interview with SiriusXM, President Obama explained that he would feel safe getting a vaccine if Dr. Anthony Fauci says it’s safe.

“People like Anthony Fauci, who I know, and I’ve worked with, I trust completely, so, if Anthony Fauci tells me this vaccine is safe, and can vaccinate, you know, immunize you from getting Covid, absolutely, I’m going to take it…I may end up taking it on TV or having it filmed, just so that people know that I trust this science, and what I don’t trust is getting Covid.”

Meanwhile, President Bush’s chief of staff, Freddy Ford, told CNN that Bush would happily get vaccinated on camera.

“A few weeks ago President Bush asked me to let Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx know that, when the time is right, he wants to do what he can to help encourage his fellow citizens to get vaccinated. First, the vaccines need to be deemed safe and administered to the priority populations. Then, President Bush will get in line for his, and will gladly do so on camera.”

According to President Clinton’s Press Secretary, Angel Urena, Clinton is also on board with getting vaccinated in a way that will promote the public to get vaccinated as well.

“President Clinton will definitely take a vaccine as soon as available to him, based on the priorities determined by public health officials. And he will do it in a public setting if it will help urge all Americans to do the same.”

Would seeing three former Presidents get vaccinated on camera make you feel more comfortable getting the COVID-19 vaccine when it is available? Do you have any hesitations about the new vaccine?
