One of actor Lance Reddick’s most famous roles is portraying Charon in the “John Wick” franchise. Other notable credits include “The Wire,” “Bosch” and “Resident Evil.”

Reddick was participating in a press tour for the film “John Wick: Chapter 4” when he suddenly died. According to his representative, “Acclaimed actor Lance Reddick passed away suddenly this morning from natural causes. Lance was best known for his roles in The Wire, Bosch, Netflix’s Resident Evil and the John Wick films. He is survived by his wife Stephanie Reddick and children Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick. Donations in his memory can be made to momcares.org in Baltimore, his hometown. Lance will be greatly missed. Please respect his family’s privacy at this time.”

Reddick was 60 years old. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Day, who he had been married to since 2011. This was his second marriage. He had previously been married to Suzanne Yvonne Louis. They had two children together but later divorced.

He was scheduled to appear on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” next week, and he has three upcoming projects that will be released after his death, “White Men Can’t Jump,” “Ballerina” and “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” He was also attached to several more projects.

Besides working on live action projects, Reddick also did voiceover for a number of animated projects including video games such as “Horizon Zero Dawn,” “Horizon Forbidden West” and “Quantum Break.”

Besides loving his work, Reddick also loved his dogs and often shared posts about his dogs on social media.

Just one day before his death, Reddick posted a series of pictures with his dogs captioning the post, “I love spoiling my dogs.”
