Can someone really predict future world events? Most people may not be able to, but some believe that Nostradamus could.

Back in 2005, Mario Reading published a book called “Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies for the Future.” The book included Reading’s interpretations of French astrologer Nostradamus’s predictions for the future.

Back in 1555, during the time of the Black Death, Nostradamus made hundreds of predictions about the future including world events in Europe and beyond. Many of his prophesies are of doom and destruction, which is why he is often referred to as the “Prophet of Doom.”

Reading’s book includes 942 interpretations of Nostradamus’s predictions. The first week of September 2022, only 5 copies of the book were sold, but just a couple weeks later, 8,000 copies of the book were sold. Why? It seems that another one of Nostradamus’s predictions came true.

According to Reading’s book, Nostradamus predicted Queen Elizabeth II’s death. The prediction reads, “Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa twenty-two, at the age of around ninety-six.” That’s pretty specific and accurate. Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96.

After hearing about the prediction, many people bought the book of predictions to see for themselves if Nostradamus really predicted an event over 400 years in the future.

A lot of the predictions in the book are not as clear to interpret and leave some Nostradamus experts with differing opinions about what they really mean. For example, some believe that Nostradamus predicted the war between Russia and the Ukraine, but Nostradamus expert Boby Shailer believes the prediction actually refers to a world war.

The prediction in question this time reads, “Blue-head shall white-head harm in such degree, As France’s good to both shall e’er amount.”

Shailer explained, “I think that Nostradamus is warning us about a third world war which will be so catastrophic that it will reduce the population of the earth by two-thirds.”

Some experts believe that another one of Nostradamus’s predictions means that Prince Harry, the second son of King Charles III, will eventually become king even though he has renounced his role as a senior member of the royal family and is currently fifth in line for the throne.

The prediction reads, “Because they disapproved of his divorce, a man who later they considered unworthy; The People will force out the King of the islands; A Man will replace who never expected to be king.”

Obviously, this prediction may or may not come true and might be referring to something else, but it would be interesting and highly unusual if Prince Harry actually did become king.

Do you believe Nostradamus really predicted the future?
