We know. We know. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but we’re already dreaming of Christmas. Although we’re holding off on trimming the Christmas tree until we’re done with our Black Friday shopping, that doesn’t mean we’re waiting to get into the holiday spirit.

While our decor still consists of fall favorites like pumpkins, we’re already looking for every possible way to listen to Christmas music (we found a new favorite channel) and watch Christmas movies.

If you’re a Netflix subscriber, and if you’re anxious to watch a variety of great Christmas movies, you’re in luck. We found an easy way to access Netflix’s full selection of holiday films.

In the past, we were stuck searching for the favorites that we knew by name, like “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” or we’d just search for something general like “Christmas.” But, the word “Christmas” isn’t in every holiday movie, so how do you discover every holiday film Netflix has?

There are secret codes you can use to unlock whole categories of Christmas films!

First, we’ll tell you how to do this on your computer. You’ll need to sign into your Netflix account. Then, use this URL formula to access the category of films that interests you: http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/INSERTNUMBER

“INSERTNUMBER” is a place holder where you’ll put the number that corresponds to the category you want to access. For example, the number that represents the category “Romantic Christmas Films” is 1394527, so you would enter http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/1394527.

Here is the full list of secret codes and the categories they unlock:

1394527 – Romantic Christmas Films

1394522 – Family-friendly Christmas Films

1474017 – Christmas Children & Family Films

1475066 – Feel-good Christmas Children & Family Films

1475071 – Goofy Christmas Children & Family Films

1477201 – Christmas Children & Family Films for ages 5 to 7

1477204 – Christmas Children & Family Films for ages 8 to 10

1477206 – Christmas Children & Family Films for ages 11 to 12

1476024 – Christmas Children & Family Films from the 1990s

1721544 – Canadian Christmas Children & Family Films

1527064 – British Christmas Children & Family Films

1527063 – European Christmas Children & Family Films

We just did a quick search for the “Romantic Christmas Films” category, and we’ve already added “Love Actually” and “A Christmas Prince” to our list.

If you prefer to watch Christmas movies on your TV, we suggest accessing whichever Christmas categories you want on your computer first, adding the movies you like to your list and then accessing your list on your TV.

If you don’t have a computer handy, you can access these categories directly through Netflix on your TV; it just takes a little more typing. Instead of entering the URL code mentioned above, you’ll need to search for the exact category name. So, on your TV, don’t worry about the code. Just search for “Romantic Christmas Films,” for example.

Which secret code are you going to try first?
