What’s the first thing you do when you find out someone you know just had a baby? You obviously ask them for a photograph! Newborn bliss is real, and you HAVE to get a photo of that squishy little peanut.

Well Meghan McCain, who has worked for ABC News, Fox News and MSNBC, kept us waiting a bit longer than we would’ve liked. We had known she gave birth to her daughter a couple of weeks ago, but haven’t seen one photo of her!

But hey, better late than never, right? The TV personality finally shared the first photo of her daughter, Miss Liberty Sage, who she and husband Ben Domenech welcomed to the world on September 28, 2020.

The photo, which she shared on Instagram, depicted her smiling, holding Liberty close to her chest, in a garden. “Bliss,” she simply captioned the photo.

We can’t see Liberty’s face in the photo, since she’s all cozy and snuggled up with her mama, but the little ear peaking out and peach fuzz on her hair gives us a good indication that she’s as cute as a button. And you can certainly tell how happy Meghan is—she may be glowing even more than she was during pregnancy!

On Twitter, Meghan thanked her fans for their support. “Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful well wishes and overwhelming kindness,” she wrote. “Ben and I are completely and utterly in love with our daughter and feeling indescribably blessed/blissed out.”
