It’s been about a month since the glorious royal wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle went down—can you believe that?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had such an amazing day for their fairy tale wedding on May 19. The ceremony was held at Windsor Castle and the reception was held at the Frogmore House, and all was pretty much perfect.

Now that the wedding is over, the new royal married couple is currently residing in Nottingham Cottage, also referred to as “Nott Cott,” which is a modest house in Kensington Palace. Designed by Christopher Wren, the cottage features two bedrooms, one bathroom, two reception rooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a small garden. It’s perfect for a new husband and wife to start their lives together.

But with Meghan being from the states, and obviously now with lots of commitments thanks to being a member of the royal family, we can’t help but wonder: What does she do for fun? Does she have many friends? We imagine many of them live in America.

In addition to that, it must be hard to adjust to such a new life. Besides the obvious—like being a new member of the royal family—we can’t forget she uprooted her entire life and moved to a new country. While she has been living in the U.K. since last fall and of course has has spent lots of time in London since she began her relationship with Prince Harry in 2016, we’re still wondering how comfortable she really is living there full time.

It turns out that Meghan is doing quite well—and has even become pretty close friends with someone who also isn’t British royalty, but who is helping her adjust to and settle into London life and the different lifestyle in general. While the two have known each other a while, it wasn’t until recently they became even closer.

“It was a very natural friendship from day one,” an anonymous source said.

Can you guess who it is? We’ll give you a hint: The woman is an accomplished attorney and human rights lawyer, and shares many interests with Meghan, which is probably why their friendship works so well. Just some of these interests include human rights, women’s issues, and involvement with the United Nations. For three years, Markle has been a UN Women advocate.

This woman and her husband live just outside of London, so getting to see each other isn’t too hard. Even when being a royal, the two have some upcoming trips in the works.
