How Meghan and Harry Are Preparing for the Birth of Their Baby (Potentially) This Month
It’s easy to think that the royal family is different than that rest of us, and we know that in some ways they are. They have their quirky traditions and list of things they can and can’t do, but they are still humans like the rest of us.
Meghan Markle, the American turned Duchess, is the latest member of the royal family with a baby on the way. While we don’t know the exact due date of the new member of the royal family, we do know that he or she is expected to arrive sometime this spring, possibly at the end of April. Even if we did know the due date, it wouldn’t tell us much more than that since babies hardly ever arrive on their exact due date.
Like many moms in their third trimester, Meghan is officially on maternity leave. She is not as active as she once was and is probably trying to nest.
If you’re a mom, you probably remember that nesting instinct kicking in. Despite how uncomfortable it can be in the final months of pregnancy, many moms can’t stop themselves from doing final touches to the nursery and making sure everything is just so.
Nesting may be a little bit difficult for Markle. She and her handsome prince (Harry) were planning to move into their new home well before the birth of their baby, but it looks like that might not happen. With construction taking longer than they hoped, the moving date has been put on hold.
All of that makes us wonder if Meghan and Harry have a nursery ready in their current home. Our guess is that they most likely do. Meghan received quite a few gifts from the guests at her not-so-secret baby shower in Manhattan, and we assume she has them set up and ready to go like any nesting mother would.

Besides wondering when the new baby will be born, we can’t help but wonder what the little royal’s name will be. What do you think Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will name their first child?
