Joanna Gaines is Obsessed with These 3 Paint Colors Right Now

If you’re anything like us, you’re obsessed with all things HGTV—and all the things it makes you want to do to your home. Shiplap your living room wall? Uh, yes. Get some open shelving in the kitchen? Sign us up.

Pretty much all the stars of HGTV know what they’re talking about, but arguably no one more than Fixer Upper costar Joanna Gaines, AKA the goddess of all things home décor. Her and her husband Chip are always making us swoon over the lovely farmhouse style they’re so famous for.

It’s typically pretty difficult to copy projects you see on TV directly into your home (whether due to budget or just no idea where to start). That’s why we’re pretty pumped that Joanna recently spilled about her top favorite paint colors for the home. And they’re as gorgeous as you’d expect

All these paint colors below are from Joanna’s line at Magnolia Home, where each piece is designed and curated by Joanna herself, and includes furniture, rugs, wall coverings, and more.

Among Magnolia Home, Joanna has her own paint line of the most gorgeous colors we’ve ever seen. We’re not sure how she even chose her three favorites, but we’re glad she narrowed it down for us.

If you’re looking to repaint anything from your bedroom to your bathroom, consider one of these expert-picked colors. All the colors are just $44 per gallon—such a steal!

For the bedroom

Paint color: Weekend

This bluish-greenish hue is perfect for the bedroom, Joanna told PopSugar. “Bedrooms are a great place to take a risk and use a little more color,” she said.

Plus, the name of the paint says it all: “Like weekends, this color puts me at ease. It is the calming blue of retreat and relaxation.”

For the bathroom

Paint color: Wedding band

Okay, so we typically don’t use the word “wedding” and “bathroom” in the same sentence, but we can make an exception here. This shade of gray is absolutely stunning in a bathroom, according to Joanna.

“In a bathroom, I like the idea of using something fresh and clean, like maybe one of my favorite grays,” she says. We’d probably say it would work anywhere else in your home as well!

P.S. The color is called wedding band because it’s the color of Chip’s wedding ring. Adorable, right?

For the kitchen or living room

Paint color: Shiplap

For the traditionalist, minimalist, or just someone who doesn’t love a lot of color (*raises hand*), the color of Shiplap is for you (or your kitchen or living room, according to Joanna).

“For high-traffic areas like kitchens and living rooms, I would keep things simple and use a creamy, neutral white like Shiplap with True White trim color,” Joanna says. “They create a bright, clean space and offer a versatile backdrop for decor.”

Simply upgrading a paint job in any room in your home can make a huge difference. We definitely know what we’re doing this weekend!
