Teen Presents Harry and Meghan With an Incredible Hand Drawn Portrait

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in the media a lot ever since they got engaged. After their beautiful wedding, they went on their first royal tour as husband and wife. It was a trip to Ireland, and one of their stops was at Trinity College.

A lot of fans turned out to get a glimpse of the royal couple. One of the fans who showed up was 19-year-old art student Chloe Mullins. She had been told that the royal couple couldn’t accept gifts, but she had a special picture she wanted to show them anyway.

Mullins had used one of Harry and Meghan’s engagement photos to create a gorgeous drawing. At first glance, we had to do a double take to realize that it’s not actually a photo. It’s that good. We’re not the only ones who were impressed.

Prince Harry caught a glimpse of the picture while greeting the crowd. According to Mullins, he called Meghan over to look at the drawing. Mullins took pictures of the couple’s shocked reactions as they asked her if she drew it and if she was sure they could have it.

Mullins posted about the surreal exchange on Twitter saying, “They took my drawing😍 he was like ‘can we have it are you sure?’”

She also shared the news on Instagram adding, “Ya girls artwork going in Kensington Palace🤔 Delighted to have gotten to talk to them and have them keep my drawing😝 they’re genuinely so nice!!!”

In true social media style, many people shared, commented on and retweeted the story. Later the same day, Mullins tweeted, “The Mirror put me in an article it’s a weird day.”

This exchange between Mullins and the royal couple happened in July, 2018. Her tweet has since been heard round the world since the story has been covered by People, Express and Harper’s Bazaar.

A few of Mullins favorite parts of the exchange are when Harry said, while looking at the drawing, “And you’ve given me more hair.” Apparently, this caused Meghan to break out laughing. Mullins even got the royal couple on video.

Mullins truly does seem to be a talented artist. We can’t wait to see what (or who) she draws next!
