To put it lightly, 2020 has been an unusual year. Many people seem to be wishing the year away thinking 2021 can’t come fast enough. For some people, that meant looking forward to pumpkin spice everything to signal that fall had officially arrived. For us, it meant eagerly waiting for the new lineup of Hallmark Christmas movies.

While Hallmark Channel now airs their feel good Christmas movies all year long, the Countdown to Christmas is our unofficial signal that the happiest time of year is almost here, and that means 2021 isn’t far behind.

Instead of counting the days to 2021 or even counting the days until Christmas, we’re just counting the days until October 24th, when the very first new Christmas movie from Hallmark is set to premiere. 

Hallmark has released the names, air dates and details for all 40 of their new Christmas movies for 2020 which will air across Hallmark Channel and their sister channel Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

If you’re a regular viewer of Hallmark movies, you’ll notice many familiar faces, like Candace Cameron Bure and Lacey Chabert, but there are also a few familiar faces who are new to Hallmark movies such as Tamera Mowry-Housley and Sarah Drew. Ben Savage even stars in a Hanukkah movie that is part of this year’s lineup.
