While many people have tried to guess at the hotel’s secret recipe, we now know the real recipe for the famous cookies. According to the Hilton website, more than 30 million chocolate chip cookies are enjoyed by DoubleTree guests each year. The delicious cookie was even the very first food baking in orbit at the International Space Station. 

 Shawn McAteer, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, explained why the hotel decided to release the secret recipe. 

“We know this is an anxious time for everyone. A warm chocolate chip cookie can’t solve everything, but it can bring a moment of comfort and happiness.
