These triple-chocolate treats tower over the brownie competition with three incredible layers: crispy rice cereal coated in melted chocolate and crunchy peanut butter, stacked on top of mini chocolate peanut butter cups, stacked on top of rich, fudgy brownies.

This a recipe for death by chocolate peanut butter, and the combo of textures is to die for; one way or another, these brownies are gonna getcha. Simply adding peanut butter cups to brownie batter is enough to make most of us swoon, but these truly went above and beyond when we topped them off with crispy rice cereal coated in not just melted chocolate, but melted chocolate with a big old swirl of–you guessed it–crunchy peanut butter.

The airy top layer will definitely remind you of those crackly mini chocolate bars you used to get when you went trick-or-treating. You can use your favorite store-bought brownie mix for the brownie layer, or whip up some brownie batter from scratch if you have the time. Then slice ’em up and delight everyone when you reveal a secret surprise layer of mini PB cups.
