This Summer, AMC Theatres is Offering Kids’ Tickets, Drinks, and Popcorn at an Ultra-Low Price

Summer is getting closer and closer. We can practically taste it. We can hardly wait to fire up the grill and make our own popsicles. We look forward to days at the pool, the beach and making s’mores.

While we’re counting the days to warm weather and long days, there’s one thing we don’t want to lose sight of. Summer also means the kids are out of school. We’re sure our kids are counting the days even more than we are. Summer for them means no school, no homework and perhaps a later bedtime.

Yes, we love our kids. They’re our everything, but summer is a long time. These energetic kiddos need something to keep them entertained and occupied on the long, sunny days of summer.

While we love the warm weather, we’re not big fans of sweaty, humid days and struggling with our kids to get them to wear sunscreen. If you have kids, you know what we mean.

Thankfully, we have a plan for what to do when we need air-conditioning and entertainment for our kids. We’ll take them to the movies.

Going to the movies can be super expensive especially when you figure in the price of popcorn and any other must-have snacks your kids insist on getting. We like to save money when we can, and that’s why we want to pass along this awesome tip. We’re going to take our kids to see movies at AMC Theaters this summer.

On Wednesdays this summer, AMC Theatres is only charging $4 for admission to a kid-friendly movie. They’re calling it their Summer Movie Camp.

Not only do kids get in to see a movie at a super low price, but admission also comes with a KidsPack which includes movie snack favorites like popcorn, a fountain drink and a pack of Frooti Tooties. Salty, sweet and something to drink – we’re all set!

Some of the movies you can take your kids to this summer include “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part,” “Smallfoot,” and “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.”

While theaters from coast to coast are participating, Summer Movie Camp is not available at every AMC theater location. To see a full list of featured movies and to find out if a location near you is participating, visit this link.
