4 Things to Pack to Save Money on Your Next Trip

Depending on what you’re doing when you travel, your airline tickets and associated fees could be the most expensive part of your vacation. To save on costs a bit, and to make you more comfortable, here are a couple of things you may want to make sure you’ve got with you on your flight:

Snacks

Some airlines will offer you a free snack or dinner on a flight, but those airlines are now few and far between. Save yourself from having to spend a ridiculous amount of airline food by packing your own snacks. A sandwich and some fruit, crackers, nuts, etc. could go a long way on any flight!

Germ Eliminators

Getting sick could cost you a lot of money (medicine, remedies, tissues, etc.) and germs on planes could definitely lead to getting sick. Save yourself by coming prepared with antibacterial wipes or some other sanitizer. Take it from Business Insider:

Antibacterial wipes cost a buck at the drugstore and can be used on hands, those nasty seat headrests and armrests – basically, anything and everything you might touch.

A Big Pashmina

Your biggest scarf/pashmina can serve many purposes on your flight and during your travels in general. You can use it as a blanket if you get cold on your flight. You can ball it up and use it as a makeshift pillow. You could also use it to cushion fragile items in your carry-on or luggage. And as a bonus, you can use it as a stylish wrap or scarf for when you land.

Space Saving Bags

Space Bags could save you space in your carry-on and checked luggage, saving you in fees. For example, you could possibly pack everything you need in your carry-on using one or two of these bags. Then you wouldn’t have to pay to check baggage.
