Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are preparing to step away from royal life. The are wrapping up their final duties as senior members of the royal family.
While in London, Meghan paid a surprise visit to a high school in London on International Women’s Day. She spoke on stage with head boy Aker Okoye.
Okoye was surprised and delighted that Meghan was visiting his school. While on stage, he gave Meghan a hug and said, “She really is beautiful, innit.” The audience erupted in cheers and applause.
Later, Okoye thought it would be a good idea to write a letter to Prince Harry apologizing for hugging his wife.
“Dear Meghan and Harry,
I hope you don’t mind me writing this letter. I hope you didn’t mind me cuddling your wife.
I was just overwhelmed and shocked to see her arrive at my school. It was a pleasure to hear her speech and to speak in front of her as well.
She is truly inspirational. I nearly met you (Harry) last year when you came to East London to open the Future Youth Zone but I was away with the school. I hope to meet you one day.
Good luck for the future. With kind regards, Aker.”

Okoye wrote the letter because he was worried that Harry or Meghan might be upset. He told The Sun, “I’ve written the letter to make sure Harry doesn’t have a problem with it and to say sorry really and that I hope he didn’t mind.” He added about the experience, “It was great. It was the best day of my life so far. I’ll never forget it.”
He went on to say that Meghan wasn’t upset but found it funny instead. How do you think Harry will react when he reads Okoye’s handwritten letter apologizing for “cuddling” his wife?
