Attention: price increases are coming to a grocery store near you, and you most likely buy these popular brands.
If you’re on a budget or trying to cut down on spending, this is not good news. The brands that are increasing their prices are found at the grocery store, but they are not actual food items. These are all vital items for many, many people, and they are going to cost more in just a few months.
Procter and Gamble, which manufactures brands including Pampers and Tampex, announced that they will be increasing prices on their feminine care, baby care and adult incontinence products. They are not the only ones. Other major companies are following their lead.
Watch the video below to learn more about how much prices are going to be increasing and what you can do to get the items you need while sticking to a budget.
Like the video mentioned, there are several apps like Ibotta which will give you cash back for products you buy in grocery stores. Also, do not ignore store brands. Sometimes they really are as good as or even better than the brand names you might be used to buying.
We know it’s tempting, but try to refrain from stockpiling products that will soon be increasing in price. However, if you’re running low on an item that’s set for a price hike, it might be a good idea to buy a replacement package now instead of waiting until just after the price change happens.
Does it surprise you that big brands are increasing their prices on essential products? Are you going to try the store brands instead? Do you use a shopping app like Ibotta?
