The UK is currently in a period of mourning that will last through the day of the funeral. The public is not allowed to attend the funeral in-person, and the royal family has even asked the public not to leave flowers at royal residences. The royal family has requested that anyone who was considering leaving flowers donate to charity instead.
Even though the funeral will not be open to the public, the funeral will be televised. In the UK, it will air on the BBC. The funeral is scheduled to take place at 3pm local time.
