With all of the coronavirus news, you may have forgotten about the college admissions scam of 2019, where Full House actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, reportedly paid $500,000 to get their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, into the University of Southern California.
The money went toward a nonprofit organization called Key Worldwide Foundation to delegate the ruse of the faulty sport participation of her daughters. They went so far as to even stage their daughters using the rowing machine to really make it believable.
Well, those photos have since emerged. The photos show each girl, whose faces are blurred out, wearing workout clothes while using indoor rowers.
In previous emails that have also emerged, the head of the organization Loughlin and Giannulli went through, William “Rick” Singer, stated that he would “create a coxswain profile” for IsaBella, which “would probably help to get a picture with her on an ERG in workout clothes like a real athlete too.”
That’s when Giannulli replied, “Fantastic. Will get all,” and emailed the picture back in 2016.
A few months later, the two began the process for their other daughter Olivia, who also never rowed. In addition to photos, a fake resume was created for Olivia claiming she attended rowing competitions even when her social media pages documented her at social events.
Loughlin and Giannulli have pleaded innocent, even with the evidence right in front of us. They’re currently facing up to 50 years in prison and are currently scheduled for a trial in October at a federal court.
As far as the daughters, the two no longer attend USC, but have still kept up with their social media stardom.
