While it might feel like you gain a new wrinkle every time you look in the mirror, there are some people who simply don’t age. Case in point: Jennifer Anniston.
The actress recently took part in a photo shoot for Interview Magazine, which was released on her 51st birthday—that’s right, the big 5-1. And let us be the first to tell you: The woman hardly looks 51. She barely even looks like she’s in her 30s!
She posed up close and personal, she posed far-away glamour shots. Whether she was showing off a leather jacket and knee-boots or a pink top and leather skirt ensemble, every photo is more beautiful than the next.
“Thank you @interviewmag for this birthday surprise. I had no idea this would be coming out today. Feeling proud and honored to be celebrating with this cover,” Anniston wrote in an Instagram post. “Thanks to the Interview team for celebrating women at every age… turns out 51 is pretty fun.”
She has totally broken the Internet. Fans on every social media platform from Twitter to Reddit had only positive things to say about the photoshoot.
“I’ll be there for you,” someone joked, referring to the Friends’ theme song.
“Brad Pitt has left the chat,” someone else said.
“She belongs to a class of very well compensated people whose primary of existence is to be attractive for as long as possible,” another person said. “And she is one of the most successful in that group. We all have a purpose in life. She not only found hers, but she is damn good at it. Good for her.”
“A lifetime of healthcare looks good on her,” said someone else.
In reference to that last comment, it’s true: Jennifer Anniston has always been known for her regimented fitness and nutrition routines An avid health nut, Anniston has always been one to take care of herself, so to speak.
One of the things she swears by is intermittent fasting. “So there’s no food in the morning. I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours,” Aniston once told Radiotimes.com.
Additionally, the actress finds time to work out about five times a week, which typically include things like boxing or yoga.
Before she works out, however, she dedicates her mornings to getting in some me-time with meditation or watching the sunrise—whatever it may be.
“The morning is my self-care time because it gears me up for the day ahead, she explained. “For me, that’s meditation, which I do first thing when I wake up before I have my coffee, because if I get out of the room I won’t sit back down. So I’ll start with that to just kind of calm myself before I head out to exercise.”
How gorgeous are these photos? Do you know anyone who looks like this in their 50s?
