As the weather turns cooler, we’ve set our minds to the upcoming holiday season. We’ve already decorated for fall and picked out Halloween costumes, so now it’s time to start thinking about Christmas.
We have to decide how we want to decorate the tree, what kinds of cookies to make for Santa and whether or not to jump on the matching family pajamas bandwagon.
While we love decorating for Christmas, it can be a little overwhelming. We want to create the magical experience we remember from childhood, but somehow, our decor never looks quite as good as the decor we see in Hallmark Christmas movies. Can you relate?
With a record-breaking 40 new Christmas movies set to release on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, we’re constantly going to be reminded that our tree could be decorated a little better and perhaps we should’ve added a few more wreaths. Don’t get us wrong. That doesn’t mean we’re not going to watch every single movie. We already have the full lineup, and we’re ready! October 25th can’t come soon enough!
However, wouldn’t it be a dream come true to have your home look as festive as the homes in Hallmark movies? For one lucky winner, this is not too good to be true. We’re talking about letting Hallmark decorate your home for you.

For the first time last year, Hallmark had a contest where one lucky winner had their house completely decorated for Christmas courtesy of Balsam Hill. The lucky family lives in Louisiana, and the decorating process was so intense that the family actually stayed in a hotel while their home was transformed into the most festive house on the block (or possibly even in the entire state). Watch the video below to see the transformation for yourself.
This year, Hallmark is once again running the same contest, and since we know what a fantastic job they did on the winner’s house last year, we’ve already entered. We even decorated a few virtual rooms to earn extra entries. Want even more entries? You can share the virtual room you decorate on your favorite social media site.
The contest ends on October 21st, and you must live in one of the 48-contiguous states in order to enter. Are you going to enter Hallmark Channel’s Holiday Home Decoration Sweepstakes?
