Woman Speaks Out About Getting Run Over 3 Times In Road Rage Attack

Road rage often looks like someone honking angrily or screaming profanity at other drivers from inside their own vehicle. It can sometimes be dangerous and lead to car accidents. In other cases, the rage is a result of anger due to being cut off in traffic or getting in a fender bender.

Whatever the reason, road rage is not helpful. In fact, in some cases, it is extremely dangerous. Morgan Scott knows this first hand.

It started out as a normal day for Scott. She got ready for work like usual, but then she was in a fender bender with another vehicle, a silver SUV. She decided it would be a good idea to take a picture of the vehicle’s license plate, but when the SUV driver saw her taking pictures, he got a serious case of road rage.

What ensued was almost unthinkable. The driver pointed his vehicle at Scott and chased her as she literally ran for her life, still in shock at what was happening.

At one point, Scott fell, and the driver drove over her not one, not two, but three times. It’s a miracle that she survived; however, she definitely did not walk away uninjured. On the GoFundMe page set up by Scott’s family, they explain, “She sustained three fractured bones in her neck; a broken femur; a lacerated liver; broken ribs; fractured back, and road rash over 60 percent of her body.”

Watch the video below to learn more about Scott’s story and to hear from her about the experience including how she’s doing now.

Scott’s family originally set a GoFundMe goal of $100,000 to help pay for medical expenses. They have since exceeded that goal and set up a new fundraiser for phase two of her recovery. If you would like to donate, you can do so here.
