Someone’s always got something to say about what you name your child. It’s never going to be a name that everyone in the world is good with—there’s always going to be someone who thinks it’s too boring, too weird, too common, the list goes on.
At least in this day and age, people are opening up to more new and unique names—with Kim Kardashian naming her baby “North” or Gwyneth Paltrow naming her child Apple, it seems like today, anything goes.
That doesn’t mean these celebs didn’t receive flack for these seemingly odd names. But sometimes when you go with something a bit off the trail, you have to understand that people are going to have opinions.
One woman was not prepared for everyone’s comments on her unborn child’s name. We’re not sure why she wasn’t prepared for this, considering she picked a pretty unorthodox name that was bound to stir up some controversy.
She was so sick of people saying things about the name she picked that she actually canceled her own baby shower because she didn’t want to be around them. Instead, she posted on Facebook that she will be hosting a “smaller, more inclusive party” where no one can judge her.
He reason for doing this is made super clear in her now viral post: “Because ya’ll have been talking s*it about my unborn baby. AN UNBORN CHILD> How can you judge an unborn child? What is wrong with you??”
She goes on to say how frustrated and pissed off she is that everyone feels they can treat her this way just because of the name she picked.
“To say this frankly, my friends and family have treated me like total s*it. They’ve spread rumors and lies about my child. No, I am not crazy. No, I am not mentally unstable. No, I was not drunk when I named my child,” she said.
She also wanted to the public to know that she absolutely will not be changing her baby’s name just because others aren’t a fan. “You cannot force me to change his name. This is the name I was meant to give him,” she said.
So what kind of name could be causing up this much drama—enough to have someone want to cancel her own baby shower?
Squire Sebastian Senator.
We know what you’re thinking but DON’T WORRY—that is only his first name.
“This is how it will be. He will not be allowed to have a nickname, he is to be called by his full and complete first name,” she clarifies in her post.
“My baby’s name WILL be a revolution. It will push people to question everything. Why name your baby boring over-used names like Joshua, Brian, Sam, Nick, Mark, Bella, Marina, etc…when you can name it something special,” the woman continues.
Well, she definitely has something right. Her baby’s name will be a revolution for sure. And it will definitely push people to question everything.

What do you think of an unusual name like this? Do you think it’s fair for people to be judging this woman for giving her baby this name?
