According to The Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm is a bulge in a blood vessel in the brain. If the aneurysm ruptures, it can be life-threatening.

It is unknown what exactly causes a brain aneurysm, but known risk factors include smoking cigarettes, drug abuse, heavy alcohol consumption, older age and high blood pressure.

Sizemore is 61 years old, and he previously admitted to having a drug problem during his life, particularly with cocaine, heroin and meth.

Symptoms of a brain aneurysm include a very severe headache, seizure, nausea, drooping eyelid, loss of consciousness, stiff neck, blurred vision and confusion, but the headache, which can be described as the “worst headache,” is the most common symptom.

Sizemore is best known for his roles in “Saving Private Ryan, ” “Black Hawk Down,” “The Relic” and “Strange Days.” His most recent acting credit was in 2022 as Doctor Tom on the series “Barbee Rehab.”
