Missed the Super Bowl Halftime Show? Here It Is In Full

The joke is that if you thought the Super Bowl LVI halftime show last night was one of the most epic halftime shows ever, you might also have suddenly realized how old you are.

The Super Bowl halftime show was epic for multiple reasons, but Gen X and Millennials would particularly identify with the music, some fans saying that the show transported them back to their middle school days. LeBron James even called it “the greatest halftime show.”

Whether you grew up listening to the music of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent or not, the show was epic and 100% worth watching.

Besides speaking to our generation (wait, did I just date myself?), the show was historic as the very first time the show’s main performers were hip-hop artists.

It also seemed very appropriate to have the west-coast music at SoFi Stadium, which is in southern Los Angeles county. Not to mention the fact that one of the teams playing, the Rams, call Los Angeles and SoFi Stadium home. As some fans pointed out, Los Angeles natives felt the show was designed just for them.

Yet, suburban dads thought the show was for them as well.

The show started with Dr. Dre who appeared to be producing the entire show from a soundboard. Next up was rapper Snoop Dogg. Then there was a surprise performance by 50 Cent. It hadn’t been announced ahead of time that he would be part of the show.

The show continued with Mary J. Blige, and then it was Kendrick Lamar’s turn to take the spotlight. Next up was Eminem, who took his “once in a lifetime” moment to end his performance by taking a knee.

Dr. Dre took over and was soon joined center stage by all of the show’s headliners. And the crowd cheered.

Words don’t do this show justice. In case you missed it or just want to relive it again, you can watch the entire Super Bowl LVI halftime show here.
