Starbucks Debuts Its 4 New Cups for This Year’s Holiday Season

There’s a lot to love at Starbucks this holiday season, and get ready, because the celebration starts on November 4th. You probably still have pumpkins on your front porch, but we don’t think that means it’s too early to trade in your pumpkin spice latte for a peppermint mocha.

Whichever hot beverage you choose at the coffee chain, you’ll get to sip it out of one of four festive new cups. The designs all feature signature holiday colors like red and green with a “playful touch of lilac.” The designs are inspired by the sights of the holidays including wrapping paper, ribbons, lights and candy canes.

Suzie Reecer, Starbucks associate creative director, explained, “This holiday, we wanted it to feel magical, we wanted it to be warm, and we wanted it to be inclusive. Our goal was to really bring joy to every customer and every partner.”

In addition to the festive colors on the cups, each design also includes a gift tag on the back which is perfect for gifting a beverage to a friend.

Reecer said, “We hope Starbucks can be a place that brings our customers and partners pure holiday joy.”

Along with the new cups, there are also holiday beverages and sweet treats that will be debuting on November 4th. In addition to customer favorites like peppermint mocha, toasted white chocolate mocha, chestnut praline latte, and the caramel brulee latte, Starbucks is also debuting a brand new beverage and their very first holiday beverage featuring non-dairy milk.

The brand new Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte features the flavors of sugar cookies. It’s made with sugar-cookie flavored syrup, ice, almond milk and Starbucks Blonde Espresso. Despite the name, the beverage is available hot or iced.

When it comes to sweet treats, customers can choose from a snowman cookie, cranberry bliss bar, sugar plum cheese danish and a brand new reindeer cake-pop. It even has a red nose like Rudolph.
