Ever been in a position where you need to make guacamole (or something else involving avocado) and the avocado isn’t ripe enough? Well this little trick from The Tasting Table ought to help you out in these situations. Simply toss your avocado(s) in a paper bag with a banana. The ethylene gas from the bananas will be released into the bag and help quicken the ripening process of the avocado.
