It’s been a big week for our (newest) favorite royal couple. It kicked off with some incredible baby news–Duchess Meghan is pregnant!–and it ended with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex touring Austrailia. Of course, most of the media coverage has been about Meghan’s barely noticeable baby bump, but her husband ended up stealing the spotlight when he gave a very powerful, very personal speech on mental health.
What made the speech especially incredible is that he chose to have his wife right beside him–even if it meant her holding his umbrella as it poured. Yep, pret-ty adorable!

It was a sweet moment, but the prince’s speech itself truly was the highlight. The royal used his platform to describe his own experience of seeking out mental health treatment and went so far as to shine a spotlight on the most overlooked and underserved populations.
“We know that suicide rates in rural and remote areas are greater than in urban populations, and this may be especially true among young men in remote regions,” he said.
“You need to know that part of being strong and tough is having the courage to seek help when you need it,” the royal continued. “You must not silently suffer. You are all in this together.”
We’re so thrilled to see that Prince Harry is carrying on his mother’s mission to destigmatize mental illness. Good on you!
