Photographer Rick Guidotti gained notoriety in his heyday by working with supermodels such as Cindy Crawford. Nowadays, he’s still working hard with his talent, but he’s using his photography now in the service of a greater cause. More recently, he’s been focusing on photographing lesser-known “models,” those who live with genetic conditions and deformities like albinism. Inspired, it seems, by the “breathtaking” beauty he observed in those who are rarely considered beautiful, he began seeking out these kinds of models to work with. And instead of hiding their genetic differences, he sought to highlight what makes them unique, and prove to the world that “different” can be, and is, beautiful. What do you think? Isn’t it amazing what new perspectives can be achieved through such beautiful photography?
