Well, what if we added that all you need to do to make this magical ice pack is to drink a bottle of boxed wine? If you think it’s too good to be true, you’ll be pleasantly surprised! This is an actual DIY that you can make using the bladder from a box of wine, and it will save you so much room in your cooler. Watch the video below to see how it’s done.

This is the perfect craft for summertime!

When you have snacks, water bottles, and beers to fit in your cooler, your ice packs shouldn’t take priority. But, if you want your food and drinks to be cold, you have to include them. Usually, that means squeezing a million little ice packs into your cooler – leaving no room for the fun stuff.

This one big ice pack will work to keep everything inside cold without taking up precious space! And the first step to the project? Drink a box of wine.

DIY GIANT ICE PACK

STEP 1: Empty a box of wine (again, YES).

STEP 2: Take the empty bladder, remove the nozzle, and fill the bag with water.

STEP 3: Lay the bladder flat in the bottom of the fridge to freeze.

When it’s frozen, this DIY ice pack will be the perfect size to line the bottom of a cooler! Perfection.
