Pamela Anderson is reportedly “making room for love” again amid rumors she may have sparked a romance with Tom Cruise.
The 58-year-old actress is said to be open to finding love again after spending the last few years focused on rebuilding her career and proving herself in Hollywood, according to a Daily Mail report published Friday.
Romance speculation began swirling last month after Cruise, 63, was reportedly impressed by Anderson’s performance in her comeback film, The Last Showgirl.
The Last Showgirl is a drama centered on a veteran Las Vegas performer named Shelly, played by Pamela Anderson, whose long-running revue show suddenly closes after decades on the Strip.
The film follows Shelly as she struggles to figure out what comes next while dealing with aging in the entertainment industry, financial uncertainty, and strained relationships with the people closest to her — including her daughter. Set against the backdrop of old-school Las Vegas glamour fading away, the movie explores themes of reinvention, motherhood, regret, and survival.
The movie marked a major comeback role for Anderson and earned praise for her emotional, dramatic performance. It also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, and Billie Lourd.
“The movie got people to see Pam in a very different light, including Tom,” according to a National Enquirer source. “They’ve been in touch ever since.”
Per the Daily Mail, Anderson’s role reportedly caught the attention of Tom Cruise. A source told the National Enquirer in April that the 63-year-old Mission: Impossible star allegedly reached out to congratulate her on what was described as her “big comeback.”
The insider added that there was “definitely a spark” between the pair.
People around them have noticed the chemistry and even brought it up to Tom, the source claimed.
According to the Daily Mail, a video circulating on social media appeared to show Pamela Anderson leaving the upscale The Surrey just moments before Tom Cruise exited the hotel himself.
Fans and paparazzi reportedly crowded outside the entrance following the sighting, which came shortly after the Met Gala.
Per the Daily Mail, Pamela Anderson is still single despite the recent romance rumors and is hoping to “make room for someone special” in her life once her busy schedule slows down.
The actress has reportedly been juggling several upcoming projects, including Place to Be, Somedays, Love Is Not the Answer and Alma, while also working on her skincare brand, Sonsie, alongside her sons.
The report also claimed Anderson plans to take a summer break after her son’s wedding in France to reflect on the next chapter of her life.
