Roe v Wade, it’s the abortion decision that made it possible for women to choose what they felt was the right decision for them when they found out they were pregnant. Now, decades later, that decision has been overturned by the Supreme Court.

Long before the Roe v Wade decision was made, there have been people supporting both sides of the issue. Some people believe in a woman’s right to choose. Other people believe that even in the earliest stages, a baby is still a human being, and abortion is wrong.

No matter where you fall on the issue of abortion and the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade, you probably know someone who is on the opposite side of the issue. Perhaps you have had an abortion and truly believe in a woman’s right to choose. Perhaps you struggled to get pregnant and can’t fathom aborting a fetus.

Many families are divided on the issue. In some cases, mothers and daughters are on opposite sides of the issue.

Good Morning America sat down with a mother and daughter who are very close but disagree on the issue of abortion. One interesting aspect of their relationship is that the mother considered having an abortion since she got pregnant at a young age; however, she decided not to have the abortion, and that’s why her daughter, who supports a woman’s right to choose, is here today. Learn more about their story and their relationship in the video below.
