This recipe is for all you chocoholics out there. And best of all, you don’t even need the oven to make this tasty, sweet lasagna. I Heart Nap Time shares the recipe with us:
Here’s what you need:
-36 regular oreos
-6 Tablespoons butter, melted
-1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese, softened
-1/4 cup sugar
-2 Tablespoons cold milk
-1 (12 oz) container Cool Whip, divided
-2 (3.9 oz) pkg. chocolate instant pudding
-3 1/4 cups cold milk
-1 cup mini chocolate chips
And here’s how you make this fabulous dessert:
- Butter a 9″x13″ baking dish and set it aside.
- Crush up your oreos in a zip top bag with a rolling pin. Add your melted butter into the bag and mix with oreos until combines.
- Press the oreo mixture into the bottom of your buttered dish and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
- Whip cheese cheese in a medium bowl until fluffy. Add in 2 tbsp milk and sugar, then mix until well combined.
- Stir in one cup of Cool Whip, then spread the entire mixture over the crust. Put the baking dish in the fridge for another 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, Whisk together cold milk and chocolate pudding until thick. Spread this mixture over the top of the cream cheese layer and put back in the fridge for another 5-10 minutes to allow pudding to set.
- Once pudding is set, spread the remaining Cool Whip on the chocolate layer.
- Top with chocolate chips, then place in the fridge for 3-4 hours.
- Serve, enjoy, and try not to drool.
