Chad Anderson was just driving along Cabbage Hill in Pendleton, Oregon, when he noticed something out-of-the-ordinary in the boulder catch fence. These fences are designed to catch rocks that tumble from the high cliffs along the road and prevent them from rolling into traffic, but on this day, they caught something more precious: a baby deer. And it was still alive. Rumble shares the heroic way Chad handled the situation.
Still worried about the fawn? Don’t be! After releasing it from the fence, Chad turned the baby over to Oregon’s Fish and Wildlife office, and the tiny deer is now recovering from its scary fall.
