If you’ve ever started a new diet or made a New Year’s resolution, you know how difficult it can be to resist temptation. Sure, you may have promised yourself that you’d stay away from sweets for the next few days, but those M&Ms in the pantry won’t stop calling your name. It’s always too easy to convince yourself that just one more piece of candy won’t hurt you. Then, before you know it, the whole bag is gone and you’re left wondering how it happened.
The same story can apply to various other temptations that you’ve once resolved to avoid. Whether it’s electronics, credit cards, smoking products, or other vices, the temptation to “cheat” can always be strong – sometimes too strong to fight off on your own. It’s in these situations, when you need some help making good choices and sticking to your guns, that kSafe can come to the rescue. Take a look at how this brilliant little safe works:
So there you have it! You can start to build good habits by locking temptations away in the kSafe. Can you see why US Today and TIME Magazine called this invention (which was featured on Shark Tank, by the way) “brilliant!”?
Here’s how it works:
- Place your desired item in the kSafe.
- Rotate the button to set the timer.
- Press the button to activate the lock. Once locked, your kSafe will not unlock until the timer reaches zero.
You can lock your kitchen safe for anywhere between 1 minute and 10 days, depending on your needs. And then you can easily view the time remaining on the large, high contrast display on the top. Want to keep your temptations out of view as well? Or would you rather be able to see what you’re keeping locked away? Either way, there’s a kSafe for you. Just choose the White Base if you’d rather stay blind to the contents of the safe (out of sight, out of mind, right?). Or, if you’d rather keep items in the safe in view (maybe you have multiple safes?) then you’ll want to choose the Clear Base Option.
These safes also come in two sizes, depending on your needs. If you’re mostly thinking about locking away smaller items, then the Kitchen Safe: Time Locking Container (5.5″ Height) is what you’re looking for. But if you need to lock away larger items, you’ll want to go with the kSafe: XL Time Locking Container (10.4″ Height).
So what do you think? Are you already planning what you’ll lock away in your kSafe? What are some temptations that you have trouble resisting? We’d love to hear about how you’d use a kSafe in your home in the comments section below!
