Judge Judy Debuts a New Hairdo in the Courtroom For the First Time in 22 Years
If you followed any of the trending headlines online last week, then you may have seen the one about Judge Judy Sheindlin. The no-nonsense judge is known not only for her sparkling personality and signature way of addressing the courtroom, but also her look.
But it’s her hairdo that got an overhaul and it got a lot of people talking. For more than 20 years, the audience has watched her enter the courtroom with the same ‘do: a short bob. Sheindlin caught everybody off guard when she strutted in rocking a pinned-back pony.
She still has the blonde highlights in the loose bun, but everyone certainly has their own opinion on how they feel about the change. That includes her longtime bailiff, Petri Hawkins Byrd:
He opened the social media floor up for fans’ opinions, and many compared the new look to that of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Others complimented the change, saying she looked “beautiful” and “cute.”
We think the longer hair is here to say on the 76-year-old judge so fans will have to try to get used to it. Bailiff Byrd prefers the old way, but what do you think? Check out the video to see her in action – in before and after footage.
