Anne Heche was pronounced Dead today August 12, 2022. Her heart is still pumping to harvest organs so they may go to help others in need. Words from Ellen Degeneres and other Hollywood stars poured in on Social Media.
Heche was involved in a high-speed crash into a residential home in a Los Angeles neighborhood.
Heche an Emmy Award-Winning actor lit up screens for decades. She was 53 and is survived by her two sons Homer and Atlas.
Ellen Degeneres and Heche were in a three year relationship from 1997 to 2000. The pair faced a white hot public spotlight as both actors came out about their relationship.
In a statement Heche’s son Homer Laffoon, 20, wrote: “My brother Atlas and I lost our Mom. After six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings, I am left with a deep, wordless sadness. Hopefully my mom is free from pain and beginning to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom.” He went on to say on about his mother “a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend.”
