With the holidays come and gone, we can probably all say that we did a little splurging in the food department. I know I ate enough to keep me content through most of the new year. If you’re in the same boat and you’ve vowed to start this year in a healthier way than how you ended last year, start with baby steps! Making small changes to your diet really adds up to positive results, without the stress of counting calories or only eating celery for 48 hours (don’t do that).

A good example is breakfast- the most important meal of the day! Skip the onion bagel with cream cheese and opt for something just as delicious but much healthier, like these unbelievably yummy five ingredient breakfast cookies. Brought to us by The Domestic Geek, this recipe is simple, very healthy and perfect for an on-the-go breakfast! Most importantly, these breakfast cookies are so delicious, you won’t even notice how good they are for you – which means they’re perfect for kids, too!
