You’ll Need

Gingerbread Man
– 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, softened
– 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons egg
– 1 1/2 tablespoons molasses (or treacle or honey)
– 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
– 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
– 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
– Pinch of salt
Traditional Irish Shortbread
– 6 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
– 2 tablespoons sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
– 1/8 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
– 7 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– Pinch of salt
Chocolate Crinkle Cookie
– 8 tablespoons white sugar
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (or any flavorless oil)
– 1 egg
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 8 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– Pinch of salt
