You’ll Need
– 1/2 cup (110 grams) butter, softened
– 1 1/3 cups + 2 tablespoons (175 grams) all-purpose flour
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– Pinch salt
– 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon (85 grams) superfine (caster) sugar
– 1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon (90 grams) soft brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
– 1 egg
– 6 ounces (175 grams) chocolate chips
How To
- Preheat the oven to 338 degrees Fahrenheit (170 degrees Celsius). Grease a round baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the butter, superfine sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract.
- Mix in the egg.
- In stages, add the salt, baking soda and flour until well-combined.
- Add the chocolate chips.
- Spread the cookie dough in the greased pan. Bake for 12 minutes.
- Decorate with your favorite candies.
