The father-daughter dance at a wedding is a really special moment, not just for the bride and her dad, but for all their friends and family watching the beautiful dance. But not even father-daughter duo chooses to dance to some slow, meaningful song. While this all well and good, some families prefer adding a little more pizzazz than usual!
A great example is this father-daughter pair, who really wowed the crowd on this bride’s wedding day with some amazing dance moves. But we don’t really see it coming in this video; sometimes you can kind of see choreography coming up, but when we see this sweet video, all we can think of is how adorable this father and daughter look.
When this dad joins his daughter on the dance floor, they begin slow dancing to The Temptations’ “My Girl” which is such an adorable choice for a father-daughter dance! The two look genuinely happy and the bride looks absolutely stunning.
Then, all of a sudden, the beat picks up to something quicker and jazzier. The duo break apart and instantly begin a totally fierce dance routine which they BOTH look amazing doing. That dad can move!
After this first dance break, The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” comes on and they start a whole new set of choreography. When the dad does the signature Michael Jackson kick? I’m dead. They even do a little whip n’ nae nae and, might we add, a very impressive double robot.
The best part of this medley (beyond the amazing songs they’ve chosen to dance to) is how much fun they both seem to be having! Usually when you see one of these dances, one or both of the pair look uncomfortable or nervous. But these two are not taking themselves too seriously; they’re having an amazing time with each other and killing every dance.
As if the rest of the video wasn’t exceptional, the father and daughter end with a quick homage to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” choreography! They completely nail this, just like every other amazing section. We had such an amazing time watching them burn up the dance floor!
