Just 27 years ago, Jeremy Ruehlemann was born. He grew up in Mahwah, New Jersey, and he majored in psychology at Rowan University. While he enjoyed psychology, he took time off from school to pursue modeling.  On LinkedIn, he wrote, “I left school four years into my five year program to pursue my modeling career which was taking off at that time, which is a decision I’ll always be happy I made.”

It seems like he made a wise decision considering how successful he was in his modeling career, modeling for designers like Perry Ellis, Superdry, John Varvatos and Christian Siriano. He also appeared in magazines including Playhouse Magazine and GQ.

Unfortunately, at age 27, Ruehlemann has died. A cause of death has not yet been revealed, but the tributes have been pouring in on social media.

Siriano posted a series of photos of Ruehlemann on Instagram and included touching words about the model. He wrote, “I have never posted anything like this but to lose a friend who was such a beautiful soul is just really hard. This is for Jeremy, the most beautiful man that gave so much love to everyone he met no matter what. He was one of my muses and he always will be.”

Makeup artist Hung Vanngo also posted a tribute to Ruehlemann on Instagram. Alongside two pictures of Ruehlemann, he wrote, “Heartbroken by the news of my dear friend @Ruehlemann’s passing. He made such a large impact on everyone he met. In this industry you meet a lot of people, but he was one of those people that even if you met him once he would have a part of your heart forever.”
