Even though the holidays come around the same time each year, it’s so easy to let the month of December pass you by. All of a sudden, there are only a few days before Christmas left and you realize you don’t have any gifts for anyone! Oops.
Luckily, stores and delivery companies understand the last-minute gift-buying struggle (you’re certainly not alone) and are willing to put in the extra effort to help.
A few retail chains, plus FedEx, UPS and more, have recently unveiled a list of their shipping deadlines—aka when’s the last day you can order by to have a gift arrive by Christmas is.
If you’re short on gifts and don’t have time to head to the store, keep these deadlines as of today, December 19, in mind:

Dec. 22: Last day for free delivery on tens of millions of items.
Dec. 23: Last day for free one-day delivery on over 10 million items.
Apple
Dec. 20: Free/standard shipping
Dec. 23: Expedited shipping
Barnes & Noble
Dec. 19: Free B&N member shipping; last day for non-member express shipping
Dec. 23: Expedited shipping
Dillard’s
Dec. 20: Free/standard shipping
Dec. 21: Expedited shipping
L.L. Bean
Dec. 22 (noon ET): Shipping to a street address
Target
Dec. 20 (12 p.m. local time): Free/standard shipping
Dec. 21: Expedited shipping
Walmart
Dec. 20: Free/standard shipping
Dec. 23: Expedited shipping
