Who doesn’t love Halloween? It’s a holiday filled with fun costumes, plenty of yummy treats, and opportunities galore to change up the look of your house (i.e. decorating it with creepy skulls and skeletons!). That said, not everyone embraces the holiday fully, namely when it comes to the spooks and scares.
For instance, we adore pretty much everything Halloween has to offer–especially trick-or-treating with our kiddos!–yet we simply can’t handle all of the brutal blood and guts imagery that’s associated with it.
To put it plainly, we’re total wimps, which is why we stay far, FAR away from any and all haunted attractions. Lucky for us, we are able to make the decision for ourselves–because not everyone is able to! You see, if we had the misfortune of working on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, we might actually be forced into one of these mazes of terror.
Anyone who watches the show knows that the host has a very strange fascination–she loves scaring her colleagues and guests! We don’t know if she gets some sick satisfaction out of it or what, but we do know that her obsession produces some pretty side-splitting results.
To gear up for Halloween, Ellen had Andy Lassner, aka Executive Producer Andy, visit one of these terrifying attractions. Luckily, he had supermodel and social media maven Chrissy Teigen by his side to keep him safe. Of course, he described himself as an “alpha” before stepping through the doors, but the footage reveals a much more timid side to the long-suffering producer. Yep, being confronted by knife-wielding maniacs will do that to a person.
Poor guy!
To watch Chrissy Teigen and Executive Producer Andy get the bejeezus scared out of them at Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights, be sure to watch the video below. Spoiler alert: things get creepy–and hilarious!
We’d love to hear your take on this Ellen Show sketch. Do you like haunted houses? If so, what’s the scariest that you’ve ever visited? Who was braver, Executive Producer Andy or Chrissy Teigen?
