Celebrity Tributes Pour in For the Late, Great Sean Connery
Connery had a very successful acting career. The role of James Bond made him famous. He was the very first actor to portray 007, but stepping away from that role was far from the end of his career.
When the actor chose to stop acting, he decided to retire in the Bahamas. That is also where he passed away on October, 31, 2020. According to the BBC, his son, Jason Connery, said that his dad was surrounded by his family when he passed away in Nassau at the age of 90. He also mentioned that his dad had “been unwell for some time” but the family was “working at understanding this huge event as it only happened so recently.”
