How To Make The Perfect Candy Corn Shots For Your Halloween Party

Looking for some cute cocktail ideas for your Halloween bash? We’ve got one for you today courtesy of Cosmopolitan!

We realize that everyone is not a fan of the taste of candy corn, but once you lay eyes on those classic, seasonal candies, you know what time it is. It’s All Hallows’ Eve and time to enjoy all the sugar rushes the holiday has to offer! That means lots of creative sweets to eat and drink.

This cute drink puts a twist on the candy corn that you love or hate by turning it into Jell-O shots. Stacked just like traditional candy corn colors, these cups of boozy fun are a cool way to serve up the Halloween spirit without having to chew on the waxy kernels of sugar.

That’s only if you don’t want to. We must note that this recipe is a bit time consuming as you have to give the gel time to set but don’t let that deter you from putting these out for your party!

Watch how to make this playful concoction step-by-step in the video down below. You can roll with the flavors in this candy corn mix, or you can replace the coconut milk with condensed milk. We’ve also seen versions that leave out the bottom layer and are topped with whipped cream and a piece of candy corn.

Pour your shots into the cup size of your choice and feel free to use the spirits of your choice too. Creamy vodka flavors work well but you can also punch these up with some rum or butterscotch-flavored liqueur! Why not?

No need to be a lover of candy corn to imbibe because these don’t taste like the tiny treats. Just be sure to pick gelatin flavors that mesh well together. Although these aren’t quite witchy potions or brews, you’ll still be the life of the spooky party!
