Better check your refrigerators because Butterball just announced a recall for its ground turkey product. The food manufacturer is recalling just over 78,000 pounds of ground turkey due to possible salmonella contamination.

The raw turkey meat product was produced in July 2018 and sold under the Butterball label as well as two supermarket private label brands. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, five people from two states have become ill so far. The CDC and officials in Wisconsin continue to investigate.
