If you’re a new mom or dad, you’re probably all about the swaddle. After all, swaddled babies are known to sleep longer than non-swaddled babies (and new parents need their sleep!). Babies who are regularly swaddled also reportedly experience less middle-of-the-night wake-ups, and less anxiety in general.

Being swaddled (which, by the way, is essentially wrapping your newborn up like an adorable burrito, if you weren’t aware) is soothing for a baby because it mimics the position they were in while they were in the womb. And that makes them feel a sense of security and safeness, and thus, comfort. In fact, experts tend to recommend swaddles that hold babies’ arms folded to the chest for this exact reason.

Swaddles are also known for being particularly helpful for babies that have certain neurologic problems or colic, or for babies who are born addicted to drugs.

Long story short, most new parents are pretty pro swaddle because of its range of benefits! That is, until they actually have to go through with it.

Swaddling a baby isn’t as simple as it looks. First of all, you have to make sure the wrap is not too loose where it’s unsafe, but also not too tight where the baby could overheat. And let’s not even talk about how long it can take to get the folding technique down pat—it can take a lot of practice. And honestly? New parents really don’t have time for that.

It’s kind of odd that someone hasn’t come up with an easier way until now, but hey, better late than never. Introducing, the Swado!

The Swado essentially makes swaddling, well, easy! That’s because it has one really awesome differentiating factor, which is what it’s made out of: The revolutionary Goodcatch fastening fabric.

This fabric is truly one of a kind. It securely and quietly self-adheres without any noise. Not only that, but it eliminates the hassle of trying to learn some fancy swaddle folding and tucking technique.

Their website says it all: “GoodCatch is a self-adhering fastening fabric that is strong, yet enchantingly soft. Unlike noisy VELCRO® Brand fasteners, size constraining zippers or time-consuming buttons, GoodCatch is whisper quiet, finely adjustable, and fast. The ultra-soft fabric adheres to itself by frictional force and is super tight, yet a snap to pull apart.”

There’s even a range of patterns and styles so that your baby can be styling in his or her swaddle! And they’re all insanely adorable. Prices range from $32.99 to $44.99, and will last for years and years.
